Well Told Gifting Assistant: Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Well Told gifting assistant: the connector that lets AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot) design custom Well Told gifts with you, at chat.welltolddesign.com. Purchases on welltolddesign.com are covered by Well Told's store privacy policy.
What we collect
- Your logo file, when you upload it on our upload page or your assistant passes it to us.
- The designs you create: the product, design choices (for example a map location or text for an area), the previews we render, and your approval clicks with their timestamps.
- Your email address, only if you choose to give it (for example to save a design or continue to checkout).
- Basic request logs (time, tool used, errors) to keep the service working and secure.
We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your account details with the assistant provider, or your payment details. We only see what the assistant sends to our tools to do what you asked.
How we use it
We use your logo and designs only to make proofs, quotes and the products you order, and to let you or Well Told open a design again from its link. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use your logo to train AI models.
Where it is stored and who we share it with
Your logo and designs are stored by Well Told's service providers:
- Render (hosting for this service)
- Supabase (Well Told's design and logo storage)
- Well Told's artwork engine (renders previews from your logo)
- Shopify (Well Told's store, when you continue to checkout)
The AI assistant you use receives the product, price and proof information our tools return, under its provider's own privacy policy. We do not share your information with anyone else, except where required by law.
How long we keep it
- Design settings and previews are kept so your design links keep working.
- Logo files for designs that are not saved to a Well Told account or ordered are removed periodically.
- Logos and designs saved to your account or on an order are kept so Well Told can make, reproduce or reorder them.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your logo or designs, or ask what we hold about you, at any time by emailing help@welltolddesign.com.
